Be sure to tell your friends about The Neighborly!

It warms my heart how, just when you feel like you're on the verge of the end of~~whatever you're at the end of~~people, other human beings, step forward and give you a reason to continue moving onward.

Isn't that what we are called to?  To uplift each other, help each other, encourage one another?

So to those of you who took the time to write after last month's edition of The Neighborly, I thank you.

For December, we're going to

Meet Angela

My name is Angela and I'm a resident of Elyria.  My children are Cara, age 9, and Ben, age 7.  We love homeschooling!  One of the best parts for our family is that both our children, and we as adults, get to make LOTS of true, strong friendships--including those relationships within our own family.  We just enjoy one another.

We began homeschooling because we wanted our children to be educated in a Godly environment.  We also love the freedom in our schedule.  The Well-Trained Mind by Susan Wise Bauer and Jessie Wise has been our guidebook in planning our homeschool year.

Being involved in the homeschool community is a pleasure for our family.  It's important that our children enjoy their homeschool experience, and having good friendships is a big part of that.  I also need other homeschoolers to help me stay accountable to my children's education.

YOU could be featured in the January issue of The Neighborly!  Find out how.
