Who Am I?Here I am!
My name is Chantal, and I am a homeschooling, homesteading mom. I bought a cloth diaper delivery service (Cottontails Diaper Service) in December of 1997 and operated it through the fall of 2001. When we moved from Kansas to Ohio, it became difficult to grow the business, and I opted to let the delivery portion of it go. I had also, however, been developing a small but manageable website and retail business, which I maintained for several more years. As my own children grew out of diapers, I slowly began moving in other directions in my business. I say slowly, because my children are ten and twelve and I still have my hand "in diapers" in some ways. So What Is Products For A Good Life?Products For A Good Life is the "doing business as" (dba) name I gave myself when I lost the rights to my first website, Cottontails Diapers. That's a long story I should tell you about some time. Suffice it to say, ten years ago when I started a website, I didn't know what I was doing in the web world. At the time that I chose this new name, I was thinking that I wanted to go in the direction of promoting the elite group of all-natural products that I had come to know and love through my years as a diaper service operator. I've experimented with selling and shipping these products, writing product reviews, and affiliate marketing. And you know what? Yuck. That's not really what I want to be doing. What I want to be doing is what I've been saying I want to be doing for the last four decades: writing. So that's what I'm doing now. Finally. I still have those reviews up, because I still love those products. Maybe you will too. But I am working, once again, to fine tune my site into what I want it to be. Maybe, in another year when my contract is up on this domain name, I'll come up with something that suits me better. |
