TenderCare Disposable Diapers

TenderCare Disposable Diapers

It appears that TenderCare now has two versions of diaper on the market:  a non-gel,  non-cotton version, and a super-absorbent (gel) but still chlorine-free version.

Below is my original review of the gel, or Plus, diapers.  At the time that I wrote it, they had taken the non-gel variety off the market.  I recommend reading through for why this gel diaper is the right choice when super-absorbency is a must.

Original Review

While regular retail brands of disposable diapers can often cause health problems for babies, the TenderCare Plus Disposable Diaper has the added benefit of being healthy and natural—as well as super-absorbent.

Yes, TenderCare does have the super-absorbing gel to soak up more wetness. Yes, it is a wood-pulp diaper.

But it doesn’t have chlorine, latex, or perfume—all of which can cause skin irritations in baby.

In addition, TenderCare Plus Disposable Diapers are TBT (tributyltin) and GMO (genetically modified) free. They contain no recycled materials and have a hypoallergenic top sheet.

TenderCare is a non-toxic, soft, and super-absorbent diaper.

TenderCare Plus Disposable Diapers are constructed with a cloth-like cover, moisture barrier cuff, refastenable tabs, and breathable sides.
