I have to admit that the flushable liner was one of my favorite additions to the product line-up when I operated our diaper service. I just liked the idea of what the liners did, both for the parent and for the diaper. It was a way to encourage customers to help keep their diapers coming to them fresh and clean, thus keeping prices down. It was also a wonderful option for my home-washing customers who were a little squeamish about rinsing diapers. The flushable liner is just what it sounds like: a thin, soft, material-like liner that goes inside the diaper next to baby’s bottom. It catches solid matter, lifts out of the diaper, and flushes away in the toilet. The liner keeps most, if not all, of the solid waste material from direct contact with the diaper, thus reducing stainset and the amount of fecal matter that needs to be rinsed from the diaper at some point in the rinsing or washing process. That's it! If your baby has solid poop, you'll have no staining on the diaper at all. If they have runny poop, the liner will help to keep the bulk of it off the diaper, thus making rinsing and washing an easier task. The liners just make the cleaning process that much more effective. And because they help to reduce staining and rinsing, they help to keep your diaper cleaning cost low. If you are interested in purchasing flushable liners, consider the following: DiapeRaps Biodegradable Flushable Liners They are my personal favorite, because they are truly biodegradable. Happy Diapering! |
